Explore Marrakech Highlights By Guided Biking Tour

Your initiation in Marrakech will begin in the medina, the old district of Marrakech. Of there we will explore this historically charming region on foot. In Djemma el Fna , you visit the famous 12th century Kutuba Mosque and its influential minaret. Your guide will guide you through the labyrinthine streets and alleys of Djemma. Enjoy Aromatic smells, savor fresh squeezed orange juice and venture into the souks specialized in Berber carpets, silver jewelry, handicraft workshops, shoes craft and tanneries. Marrakech is a city of underground canals built by the architects of Cordoba in Spain to provide water to the city and the palm grove. We will head towards the Medina to explore other secrets of Marrakech: the mosque El Mansour, the tombs saadians of the sixteenth century with its steep towers, the ruined El Badia palace of the sixteenth century and the Mellah and the Jewish Quarter.
Exploration of the Mellah to visit the Bahia Palace of the nineteenth century, built in the origin for Si Moussa, a former slave became chamberlain of King Moulay Hassan. The Majorel garden is filled with colorful pedestrian walkways, ponds, cacti plants and a beautiful craft shop. Back at your hotel, we will pass in front of the garden of La Mamounia Hotel (where Alfred Hitchcock wrote the famous movie The Birds).
